MELTY BLOOD: TYPE LUMINA
EUROPEAN LAUNCH TOURNAMENT
3rd OCTOBER 2021
Hey folks, Gibz here with the launch tournament for Melty Blood; Type Lumina on PC, scheduled for the 3rd October 2021. All important details below!
DISCORD:
- In order to take part in any of the events I run, you must join the official Events Discord: https://discord.gg/ks3q7kuUEM
- Please try to keep your nicknames in the Discord server similar to the name you use to sign up for the Tournament(s)
- If you need any help, please poke either myself or another staff member and they will help as needed!
From this point on, I'll be pushing that we follow the naming rule specifically as we want to make these events smooth not only for the T.O. and helpers; but the players taking time out to participate.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- A working wired connection and the ability to play the game decently in and around Central Europe. Please ensure that you're connected up and NOT using a wireless connection.
- In the event of a disconnect, the player who disconnected will lose a match in the set. This is no longer negotiable.
- Check-ins start one hour before the event kicks off, if you miss the check-in time then we won't wait for late comers.
- Players have 5 minutes to appear for their matches (unless you've already spoken to someone about a delay). If the opponent can't find you and a T.O. / Staff member hasn't been able to contact you then you will be lose a round.
- Please make sure to report your scores on the Challonge bracket. Once the tournament gets to Top 8, the T.O. will take over.
- Tournaments are streamed but not every match is streamed (most of the time). A request for stream matches may come, please be attentive to help fill air time where needed.
MATCH RULES:
- We run a Double Elimination bracket.
- All Double Elimination rule-set matches run with the standardized rule-set of everything is 'Best of 3' until Winners, Losers & Grand Finals which are 'Best of 5'.
- Character switches are allowed upon a loss.
